Beaches and coves, places to disconnect from the pandemic

The island’s beaches are ideal places to enjoy outdoor activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The beaches and coves are open to the public but people are not permitted to be on them at night. Access to the beaches will be closed to the public from 10 pm until 6 am. Some municipalities may further limit access. Check with the municipal tourist information office about current measures.

– You must always keep a safe distance, both on the sand and in the water.
– The shore must be free of belongings, to facilitate passage and guarantee social distancing.

On most of the beaches, a maximum number of people has been established and the police can carry out access controls to ensure compliance with the capacity limitations. At the moment maximum occupancy allowed on beaches is 8 square metres per person.

Download the APP Mallorca Beaches #MallorcaSafeTourism for IOS and Android and get real-time information on capacity, bathing conditions and accessibility. This APP includes all the beaches in Mallorca with lifeguard service.
